For me whenever I think of MB the theme song from the Monkees plays in my head. MB always knew how to have fun. She had a fierce love of life and all it had to offer. She was a fighter who was loved by anyone who had the privilege of knowing her. "There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people don't feel insecure around you. We were all meant to shine, as children do." MB will always shine.
MB means never giving up on dreams and passions despite any obstacles thrown your way. She carried the ability to love her family and friends, show us all how to perfectly frost a cupcake, keep us in line when necessary, and never stop smiling or laughing through any of her tough times. My aunt MB was a true hero and although the world is missing out on her now, the legacy she left behind will certainly inspire others to be compassionate and full of life.
